About Shafak
Shafak was officially established in 10-10-2013 (registration no. 27-016-129). It was founded during the early months of the Syrian Crisis in 2011. At its core, Shafak is a grassroots NGO that was formed by Syrians for Syrians, with the intent of addressing the needs of their life with dignity, equality and humanity with a focus on sustainability and autonomy. Shafak is an impartial, independent, non-profit NGO that exists for the express purpose of providing humanitarian services to vulnerable people regardless of political or religious affiliations and on the long run to contribute to recover and rebuilding the society on freedom, justice and equality basis.
Role Purpose
An office trainer is responsible for ensuring that students learn proper in pro comprehension. he is responsible for creating lesson plans that will teach students the skills they need Reports to: Project supervisor
Key areas of accountability and responsibilities
- Create lesson plans for students
- Grade student essays and tests
- Ensure that the classroom stays orderly
- Encourage students to be active in class by using modern teaching methods.
- Write progress reports for students.
- Create tests for students.
- Assign essays and homework to students.
- Other tasks assigned by the project manager

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- English literature certificate/interpretation
- 5 years of experience in English teaching
- Knowledge in working in humanitarian work for 2 years at least.
- Comfortable working with students of different levels.
- High speaking and writing skills.
- Ability to create lesson plans.
- High interpersonal and communication skills.
