Repeated displacement and the difficulty of meeting the requirements of life, the difficulties increased for Uncle Abdullah

He has always been patient.. In his more than 65 years, Uncle Abdullah lives with his wife and five children, most of whom suffer from multiple diseases. He suffered from the hardship of frequent displacement and the difficulty of facing the new, unstable demands of life, which forced him to work by collecting figs fallen from trees and drying them to secure food. his day.
Shafak Organization has always sought to help the most vulnerable and affected by the conditions of displacement and displacement, whose difficulty still imposes itself on the majority of the population of northwestern Syria. Uncle Abdullah is currently benefiting from the Food Baskets Project in partnership with the World Food Program (WFP) to ease the burden of securing basic foodstuffs that he and his family need on a monthly basis.
Through the food security sector, we seek to secure the minimum requirements for a decent life that befit our people in Syria. We also set our eyes on the families affected by the conflict, and direct our focus on people who are unable to produce enough food and income, and who do not have the necessary means to obtain The minimum requirements for a decent life.
We work through our specialized teams to provide direct food support using cash, vouchers and in-kind methods, as well as emergency food aid, which we are quick to secure to meet the needs of the displaced, and provide food to hard-to-reach areas.

We in Shafak aim through this sector to improve the lives of families and their food consumption, and to improve the living conditions of the most vulnerable groups. We also strive to break the cycle of poverty by securing the resources necessary to generate income, as well as providing sustainable livelihoods for current and future generations and enhancing their well-being, including Equitable sharing and sharing of benefits arising from the implemented projects, as well as focusing on activating the role of agriculture and supporting agricultural production, and encouraging farmers to preserve and invest their assets in a way that benefits the individual and society.
