we are working Through this project to improve the well-being, resilience and learning environment for conflict-affected children in northwest Syria by strengthening local community-focused education, protection and emergency services.
The project in general relies on cooperation between three sectors (child protection, education, emergency). Services are provided by mobile teams for both education and protection, where needs are assessed for different areas every 4 months to target children with protection activities and education buses. As for the emergency department, it is done Targeting according to the criteria agreed upon with the supporter for child protection. Services are provided, including case management services, focused and unfocused psychological support activities, in addition to building community capacities to raise awareness of child protection issues through the formation of community networks and training them on the basic concepts of child protection and receiving referrals from Networks to enhance the community’s confidence in humanitarian work and building trust, in addition to the awareness campaign activity that targets children and adults and aims to increase community awareness of child protection issues.
