Shafak arose in a real way with the beginning of the Syrian crisis and in response to it in 2011. Shafak was formed from the merger of several local Syrian civil society organizations (which consisted of Syrians in order to serve the Syrians), placing their main needs in a decent life, justice and equality at the top of its priorities and working to preserve society And its structure by moving the members of the community.
Shafak Organization is an independent, non-profit civil society organization that was officially established in Turkey in 2013 with the aim of providing humanitarian services to the most vulnerable people regardless of religion, race, color and political affiliations, with the aim of reviving the Syrian society on the basis of justice, equality and freedom.

Shafak Organization was officially established on 10/10/2013 after the beginning of the process during the months of the Syrian crisis in 2011. Shafak is a popular civil society organization founded by Syrians for Syrians, with the aim of meeting the needs of the Syrian people with dignity, equality and humanity, with a focus on sustainability and independence in building civil society .

Shafak’s vision is to be an institutional body that acts as a tool for changing society and to contribute to building a productive, empowered and free society.
